• He sees this as the beginning of its own saga. It’ll operate as it’s own movie but plant the seeds for stuff to pay off in parts 3-5. He compared it to The Fellowship of the Ring, but said it doesn’t just “stop” in the way that film does.
• The marketing is concealing some big story choices and surprises.
• Emotion is his driving force. There’s is no action scene where a main character isn’t front and center. He made sure to calibrate the last act so it isn’t exhausting.
• As far as audience response, his main question mark is whether audiences will go along with some of the bolder choices, as given it’s the first installment in a saga, it’s not a typical “good guy wins/bad guy loses” story like the first movie.

Mah..non so. II 90% delle reaction che vedo per ogni film è sempre da "film più bello del mondo".
Poi escono le recensioni e vengono massacrati.
