Michod per me è un autore, di quelli a cui manca "il filmone" e delle tematiche a fare da filo conduttore nella filmografia, ma pur sempre un autore che scrive quello che dirige e fa progetti "personali". E' molto versatile, spazia fra i generi e i finali li azzecca sempre. Deve ancora fare un film che non sia interessante (anche il bruttino War Machine è un film di guerra singolare).
Mi spiace che dal 2019 non abbia fatto nulla. Seppur non abbia più raggiunto le vette dell'esordio è giovane e ha ancora molto potenziale, spero torni a lavorare.

Sono sorpreso dai voti bassini riservati a The King (va detto che io ho un fortissimo debole per i film in costume), il cui difetto principale è che purtroppo non va per il sottile anzi, ma comunque avercene. E ha cavato il sangue dalle rape col budget che aveva (sui 20 milioni).
